Biscayne Bay is a
lagoon that can be found along the coast of South Florida, and it is on this
very edge where the future project known as Biscayne Beach will stand. In
Miami’s East Edgewater neighborhood raises a new project, Biscayne Beach.
Biscayne Beach is collaboration between GTIS partners and Eastview Development.
It is planned to be a high-rise that is fifty-one floors high and will contain
three hundred ninety-nine units of luxury condominiums. It’s planned beginning
of construction will be on the first quarter of 2014 while it’s planned
completion will be on 2016, and upon it’s completion, its developers would market
it with the tagline “Brings the beach to the city” in order to emphasize itself
as Miami’s first man-made beach club fronting Biscayne Bay. Truly no expense
has been spared whether in purchasing the location, the construction costs, and
especially the experts hired to contribute to the development of this Biscayne Beach project. In
charge of interior design is Thom Filicia, one of the world’s most recognized
architectural designers, most famous for his appearance in the TV show, “Queer
Eye for the Straight Guy,” who has also serviced celebrities such as Tina Fey
and Jennifer Lopez, and projects such as W Hotels and the USA Pavilion in the
World’s Fair in Aichi Japan. The architects hired for the building are the WHLC
Architecture and the BCArchitects, the former having great credentials such as
an award-winning expertise in design, planning and programming, and the latter
having experience in designing dozens of condo projects in various parts of
Florida. The hired contractor for this project is Moss Construction Management,
a company with great experience in several fields related to construction based
on the various projects in its repertoire.
All of these
top-of-the-line experts were recruited to ensure that clients of Biscayne Beach
would receive and experience nothing but the best. Amenities at the beach club
level of Biscayne Beach include the first beach in the city, six private
residence pools, an internationally renowned restaurant, a bar, lounge areas
and beach cabanas, a water sports storage, a swimming pier and dock, a towel
service, and an equipment rental station for water sports such as jet skiing,
rafting, kayaking and snorkeling. There are amenities at the lobby level of
Biscayne Beach such as an indoor and outdoor club bar. In Biscayne Beach’s
residents club level, there is a residence park, a basketball court, two tennis
courts, and a great room, which itself includes pool tables, a library and a
theater. For available rooms, there are options from one-bedroom type layouts
to four-bedroom type layouts. All units will have large balconies, high glass
windows, and great views of the city skyline, the Miami Beach, or the Biscayne
Bay, depending on the position of their unit. There are a total of eight floor
plans available for viewing in the website of Biscayne Beach. The best rooms of
project as advertised are the penthouses, some of which have vaulted ceilings,
their own private rooftop garden terraces, and even outdoor summer kitchens.
All of the above is an ambitious collaborative effort to bring potential
clients something that has never been achieved before, something that can
potentially change the way this market is viewed and even raise the standards
of properties not only in Edgewater or in Miami in general, but also in
property-building throughout the world.
